This online course is designed to build employee awareness of hazards related to machinery operation and the essential safety measures used to control those hazards. Participants will learn about the different methods of machine guarding, the types of machine safeguards available, and their own responsibilities when working with or around guarded equipment. The training emphasizes recognizing hazardous machine motions and points of operation, as well as how proper guarding protects employees from contact injuries and entanglements.

Delivered fully online in a blended learning format, this course does not require an in-person skills evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Online Training.
