This online course delivers essential awareness-level training on the control of hazardous energy sources in the workplace. Participants will learn to identify hazardous energy, understand the importance of isolating energy sources during maintenance and repair tasks, and recognize the procedures and communication methods used to control access to those energy sources through lockout/tagout systems. The training emphasizes the role of locks and tags in protecting employees from accidental machine start-up or the unexpected release of stored energy.

Delivered fully online in a blended learning format, no in-person skills evaluation is required. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Online Training.
