This online course is designed to increase employee awareness of the hazards associated with fires and other workplace emergencies. Participants will learn about the key elements of emergency action plans and fire prevention strategies, as well as best practices for responding to alarms and participating effectively in emergency drills. The training emphasizes the importance of preparedness to help protect lives, property, and business continuity in the event of an emergency.

It is important to note that this course does not address emergency preparedness or response procedures for hazardous waste incidents or related cleanup activities. Additional specialized training would be necessary for those situations.

Delivered entirely online in a blended learning format, the course does not require an in-person skills evaluation. Participants who successfully complete the online modules will receive a Certificate of Online Training.
