BLS Provider Course Videos are designed for use by a single AHA BLS Instructor to teach the BLS Provider Course and BLS Renewal Course, and to conduct skills practice and testing sessions for HeartCode® BLS. Instructors can choose between two instructional tracks—in-hospital or out-of-hospital health care professionals—based on their student audience, and can select the appropriate course version from a drop-down menu.

The videos include the required segments for both classroom-based and blended learning options and feature updated science from the 2025 Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

The course videos are available in multiple formats to support different teaching environments:

• Digital & Streaming access allows instructors to stream videos through a web browser with an internet connection or download them for offline viewing using the AHA eBooks Desktop App (Windows or Mac) or Mobile App (iOS or Android).

• USB format provides offline access without an internet connection and includes Full HD 1080p video. The USB is compatible with Windows and Mac computers with USB-A ports, newer Chromebooks that support Google Play apps, and USB-C computers using a hub or adapter. Smart TVs are not supported, and the USB must remain inserted to access the videos.

• DVD format offers the same instructional content and allows instructors to select the appropriate learner track directly from the disc.

All formats contain the same core content and are intended for instructional use by one BLS Instructor. Availability and usability may be subject to institutional IT policies regarding external media or software.
