This online course is designed to enhance employees’ understanding of asbestos-related hazards and to support their ability to identify, assess, and minimize potential risks in operations where asbestos exposure could occur. The training will increase hazard awareness and improve risk assessment skills, helping employees make safer decisions when working around asbestos-containing materials.

It is important to note that completing this awareness-level course alone does not satisfy all regulatory requirements for asbestos safety and does not authorize workers to collect asbestos samples or perform asbestos abatement or remediation activities. Those tasks require additional specialized training and certification as mandated by applicable federal, state, or local regulations.

This course is delivered fully online in a blended learning format, without the need for an in-person skills evaluation. Participants who successfully complete the online modules will receive a Certificate of Online Training.
